1. Can the fuse be replaced or does the entire device have to be replaced?
Yes, easily removed and replaced.
2. Mentions a renogy fuse block which i cant find any recommendations for substitutes or links to it?
You can get any fuse holder you want as long as it has the appropriate size fuse to protect the wire. Example-30A for#10 wire. Renogy makes them and also Installgear.
3. What size posts on this holder? Or what size lug works?
The post are 5/16 stud.
4. How do you select the fuse size? Go with the charge controller rating or go one up from there?
You need to consider the maximum input/output current of the charge controller and allow an appropriate safety margin to avoid the risk of false triggering or overload. It is recommended that the rated current of the fuse be 1.25 times the maximum operating current. For example, the 60A MPPT solar charging controller can choose 80A ANL fuse.
5. Does this include a short fuse cable?
NO, cable is provided you must purchase your own cable separately, which can be found at any Auto parts store.
